What is the purpose of our REVOLUTION campaign?
The purpose is to see God’s kingdom grow as we continue to move toward God’s vision for His church. In the process, we will experience personal spiritual growth and a more passionate relationship with Him. The reality is that our vision of reaching those who are far from God and leading them into a passionate relationship with Jesus can be best accomplished if we had our own worship and ministry facility. We hope God will provide enough capital through this campaign for us to be able to begin construction by the spring of 2013.
How will the money be used?
All the money given in our REVOLUTION campaign will go towards the construction of the building and paying off the remaining balance of our land.
Can you tell me more about the building?
We are currently working with an architect who will provide us with a master plan for our 48 acres of land. The master plan will include all the future phases of expansion for our ministry campus. In the process, they will provide a complete rendering of our first building by the spring of 2012. Our desire is to have a multi-purpose worship center that seats 500, a creative children and preschool area, a youth room, office space and a large foyer for connecting with others. We also hope to have a café area for people to gather and connect before and after service, as well as some type of kitchen area for events and banquets.
Can you tell me more about the personal commitment process?
A personal and family commitment is a statement of intention and an expression of generosity and faith. The commitment that you will make is determined by God speaking to you through His Spirit. On March 28, 2010, during our Sunday morning worship service, our church was given an opportunity to lead their family to the altar and place their two-year commitment and first fruit offering before God. On May 20, 2012, we will have another opportunity to make a new two-year commitment.
Will I be able to revise my commitment if my circumstances change within the next two years?
Absolutely! As God moves in the lives of His people, financial circumstances may change during any two-year period. Commitments can be increased or decreased as God reveals. If your first fruit commitment changes, please let our church administrator know by calling the church office. We will be making financial decisions based on what is expected to come in over this entire campaign.
Can I give online?
Yes! This is the best way to help keep your commitment. You can set up a regular recurring gift, or make a one-time gift. You can also use our online giving to give your tithe to the general ministry fund.
